    My style of yoga:

    My teaching style combines the dynamism and creativity of asana and flowing transitions with the powerful transformative energy of Kriyas, breath-work and meditation. The foundations of class are the carefully composed sequences that reflect the intuitive bio mechanics of the body while embodying the spirituality and science of the yoga tradition - Eclectic playlists and a modern approach keep the time on the mat fun, full of variety and relevant to our modern lives.

    This invigorating week of yoga extends the invitation to strengthen our physical, surrender to our spirit, and find serenity in our being.

    Each day explores a key yogic theme to fortify our connection to our Outer, Inner and Inner Most realms of being.

    Sunrise practice combines vinyasa, Kriya and breath work to energise, uplift and shift us into our vital force; stoking the fire within to burn away any residual blocks to our brightness.

    Sunset practice combines Yin, meditation and visualisation to soothe the spirit and balance the meridians, creating space to receive that which we wish to pull towards us and discover within us.

    Those that enjoy a balance of challenge and chill out will love this retreat. The week invites you to delve deeper into your practice as a tool for self discovery, inspiration and healing. A week of embodying yoga as a state of being.

    • 1:1 design my self practice: a great session for those wanting to start a self practice or spruce their current one. €120 per 90 min assessment to create a tailor-made practice for you and your lifestyle demands.

    Why I teach yoga:

    From the bustle and bright lights of NYC to the backwaters of India, my journey has been an eclectic adventure of exploring movement, music, culture and spirituality. As early as I can remember the body has been an important gateway for expression and creativity, which has manifested as a degree in choreography, completing my training at the Alvin Ailey centre of dance in NYC and performing as professional dancer in my earlier years.

    Yoga in many ways became the bridge between mind and body and more than a decade on after completing my first yoga training, the science of yoga still manages to reveal the wonders of these connections. I have been honoured to study with world renowned teachers from some of the most established school’s of yoga. From traditional Hatha forms, vinyasa Yin & Kundalini, the knowledge I have gathered over the years of training and teaching just reinforce my desire to know and experience more & share this with others. My passion for the the amazing, wondrous human form and its huge capacity to astound us, teach us and connect us to others has become my life's work!

    These days, my practice and teaching fuse the grace and strength of the vinyasa style with the energetic intricacy of the Kundalini method. My approach embodies a playful, creative delivery in the teachings of yoga. I am proud to hold the titles of YA certified Senior Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, 200hr certified Kundalini yoga teacher, founder of yoga and music event Funk The Buddha®, and be a continued presence in the creative fields of movement.

    Living a life I love, keeps me globe trotting to beautiful places such as Silver Island, teaching yoga and finding time to put on my ballet shoes!
