Greece gets SUPER busy in August, so it is very important you book your accommodation well in advance.

 

ATHENS:

All the hotels recommended are located in Central Athens around Syntagma Square and are all about 15-30mins from the bus stop, and also depends on time of day, so please give yourselves plenty of time to get there.

OREOI

(local village) Please book directly should you wish to spend a night or two here prior to the retreat.

*There are quite a few new places in Oreoi on Bookings.com, but make sure you are in Oreoi by using the map.

AREAS AROUND OREOI

EDIPSOS (20 mins to Oreoi by car/ taxi ) If you are coming from Athens, this is the where the ferry comes in from Arkitsa.

  • Thermae Sylla Hotel and Spa - www.thermaesylla.gr/en/ (In Edipsos, all about the hot springs. A bit stuck in the 70’s but quite the experience) €

  • Aktaion Hotel - www.aktaionhoteledipsos.gr/en/home-english/  very cute old stone hotel on the sea front also had a restaurant downstairs and very close to the natural hot springs in the sea. Minimum 2 night stay. Offers bed & breakfast €65 - €115

  • Studios Kiapekos - www.kiapekos.gr/#rooms Little studio apartments, close to all the restaurants and natural hot springs. €

  • Kentpikon Hotel and Spa - www.kentrikonhotel.com/engl_hotel.html Just behind the Thermea Sylla Hotel and Spa, built in the 1930's with some original features and has natural spring in the hotel's spa and outdoor pools. €40 - €70

AGIOSKOMPOS (12 mins from Oreoi by car / taxi, and where the ferry to the north mainland departs from)

EXPLORING EVIA

FROM OROEI / EVIA TO SKIATHOS AND SURROUNDING ISLANDS

It is 1hr and 10 mins from Oreoi to Mantoudi port by car / taxi. The cost is about €100 either way.
