THE PERFECT GREEK RETREAT EXPERIENCE
A TYPICAL DAY ON THE ISLAND
We like to start the day with a pre-yoga snack of fruit, dried fruits, nuts, coffee and or a large selection on teas. After we convene for the morning outdoor yoga which takes place at the outdoor shala, surrounded by nature with the most magnificent sea views.
Following the morning yoga breakfast is served. Consisting of a delicious Greek retreat breakfast of yogurt, fruit salad and nuts and Lissa’s scrumptious granola! Other options include Lissa's softly folded eggs and Corne's famous banana pancakes.
Once you have filled your tummy, it is time to relax. You can book a therapeutic treatment, have some beach time, go for a swim, or explore the many walking paths of this island retreat.
When you hear our church bell ring its time for lunch! All our meals are family-style around our two big dining tables, indoors and outside on the terrace,
After a lazy lunch comes a lazy afternoon of utter relaxation. Find a hammock or hidden cove or have a siesta under an ancient Oak or Olive tree...time to just be. We have an art cupboard for you to raid and if you are feeling active you could circumnavigate the island on a kayak of or a SUP.
The afternoon yoga session is held as the sun begins to set, this class is usually a slower more meditative class.
In the evening a dinner under the stars with the sharing of stories, lots of laughter and a glass of wine if you wish around the fire pit. To end off the perfect day, climb into bed, tucked up with a book or star gazing...sleep follows soon.

FOOD ON OUR GREEK RETREAT
To embrace a healthy, yogic lifestyle we promote a vegetarian diet consisting of pure, simple, natural foods which are easily digested and promote health. Three vegetarian meals, inspired by the Mediterranean diet will be provided daily. All our produce, where possible, is seasonal, organic and locally sourced. Evia's fertile soil and bountiful sunshine produce some of the tastiest sun ripened fruit and vegetables which when prepared with love, and our own extra virgin olive oil,result in mouth watering, nutritious and delicious dishes.
The meals will be served at our outdoor table or in our sheltered dining area, both overlooking the Aegean Sea. We have sourced some delicious locally produced organic vegan wine, should you want a glass with your dinner. Drinking water is always available. Fresh coffee, a variety of teas, fresh fruit and healthy snacks will be available at all times.
We are able to cater for vegan, gluten free, lactose free diets. You will be asked to complete our online Wellness Questionnaire, where you will be able to share any dietary requirements or food allergies.
Lissa and Corne are the incredible chefs on the island. Their food is so delicious that our guests asked them to create a cookbook which is available for purchase on blurb or on market day.

Purchases at the island market
For the adventurous - 4 kayaks, 2 SUPs, and a Pedalo are available for you to explore the shores of the island, where you might even meet a dolphin or two of our resident seals! There are also pathways for exploring the island.
For the water lovers - Snorkels and goggles are provided, letting you to get to know our local fish, or do some shell diving.
For the walkers - there is 60 acres of island to explore and over 2000 olive trees to sit under, read or meditate.
For the artistic and creative - there is an art cupboard, which you are welcome to help yourself to or bring a journal to journal the whispering of your soul.
For those who just want to relax - there is a small library of books, sea, sun, hammocks and the most exquisite scenery to enjoy.
